THE BEGINNINGS

I started breeding and showing cats over 20 years ago. Korats came about by one of the happy coincidences in life that make you think some things are meant to be. My eye was caught by a picture of a very small blue kitten beside a very large blue cotton reel. I was also intrigued as I'd never heard of the breed at all. However, when I showed the book to a cat loving friend she had very recently been in touch with the Secretary of the Korat Group for information. She had decided not to follow it up so passed on it to me. My name was soon on the list for a kitten and Bikila Meenah Rahk (March Love) was brought home in March 1978.

MILESTONES

Since then Korats have been an all absorbing passion. I've bred some wonderful cats that others have gone on to show very successfully for my prefix - Jenanca. I assisted in the struggle to get the breed to Championship Status, and was really thrilled when my first stud, Aerostar Yin Dee became UK's first male champion . Another proud moment was when a girl he sired became the first to be awarded a Grand title (Grand Premier Campcat Aquamarine).
