Our boarding cattery is set within the serenity of an English country
garden. We cater exclusively for cats, therefore no noisy barking dogs
to shatter the peace and tranquility offered.
This is a well established business, in operation for over 20 years
now with the same experienced owner. For me cats are a way of life. I
breed and show my own, and take the same care looking after visitors.
I know just how precious they are to their owners.
Food is provided
with careful notes always taken of what each guest is used to. Special
needs are catered for if a prescription diet is provided. Your cat's
grooming routine will be followed, but please bring along his own
brushes and/or combs.
Every visitor
should have received the core vaccinations against enteritis and
cat 'flu, and it is expected that owners bring their vaccination
cards with them. If a cat should need veterinary attention while
with us, then his own vet is always contacted. If your pet is receiving
medication there's no problem continuing with the prescribed dose.
All cats are
covered by insurance for their stay in the cattery should any accident
occur or an illness begin whilst the cat is our care, or in the following
48 hours after he is home. This does not include pre-existing conditions.

The long safety corridor
ensures security .
If a cat slips through the door of its run it is
easily caught and returned to its own quarters.

Each chalet has its own open run, so the cats can enjoy
fresh air and sunshine. Of course, they can't touch or sneeze on the
cat next door. Facilities are NEVER shared unless cats are from the
same household, when 2 or 3 may be housed together at the owner's request.
Litter trays are changed daily, and meals are provided in the morning
and evening. Each unit has its own equipment which is disinfected between
cats. Great care is taken to avoid cross infection.

Heating is
included in the October to April rate and by arrangement in the summer
months. Electric infrared heaters are above each shelf so that the
chalet is warmed and the cats like lying beneath the lamps. These
are operated by a thermostatic control so there is warmth with no
overheating.
